All participants will have the opportunity to intervene in the debate under the different key topics referred to above. Each round table will be moderated by a representative from civil society, international organizations, private sector or the media. Focus group sessions or hospitality events may be hosted by UNCTAD, NGLS and other partner organizations to further the discussion of specific aspects of the debate. Display space will also be available, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Participants are encouraged to submit written contributions on the symposium's key topics.

Outcome
- A compendium summarizing the discussions, written contributions and background documents will be issued. Copies of the compendium will be distributed to all participants and to appropriate networks;
- The outcome of the symposium will be made available to other relevant international debates and forums;
- Information on the event and its outcomes will be broadcast through UNCTAD’s publicity and outreach channels.
